Where it all started

And here it begins! The story of the traveling scarf. When I saw the scarf I thought it would be a perfect item that we could share and document it's travels. The color is beautiful and it is unique, just like each one of us in this awesome group!

So the scarf starts here. Indianapolis, Indiana. I've lived here basically my whole life, and recently moved to a suburb of Indianapolis called Westfield. I took the scarf around Indianapolis and Westfield to give you all an idea of where I live and what I see every day. When you think of Indiana you probably think of cornfields! You're not alone! However, there is more than corn in Indiana.

But, I didn't want to disappoint you.
Sorry for the awful first picture! The sun was shining so brightly and cars kept zooming by, probably thinking I was a crazy lady-standing on the side of a country road taking a selfie in front of a cornfield! Ha! If they only knew the greatness that they were experiencing of the traveling scarf!

Not to be boring, but I also took the scarf to work. That's where I spend the majority of my time so I figured you'd want to see it in action! PS – my make up was on point that day!

I ventured downtown Indianapolis which is about a 30 minute drive from where I work. The center of our city is a huge roundabout with a famous statue on top. So I took a picture with it!

I had class downtown this evening. It was also the first preseason opener for the Colts! There were people everywhere, and I got a lot of weird stares. But, I'd do anything for you guys!

Also downtown is a massive mall called Circle Center Mall. There is a section that crosses over one of the downtown streets which is called the Arts Garden. It is made of glass windows and there are often small concerts and gatherings there. Here's a picture of the scarf in front of the arts garden. One of my favorite places downtown!

I don't want to share too much because I have hopes that one day the traveling scarf will make its way back to Indianapolis. But I couldn't wait to get this awesome adventure started and I am looking forward to where the scarf ends up next!!
